Karen I don't want to look at the forecast with another long weekend coming up

I was in Northamptonshire yesterday, Swan Vally. There was a lot of standing water in clay fields and the places where they're developing the business park near the canal had torrents running through the drainage ditches.

We've just had three days of pretty much non stop rain here 7 and some rain every other day since the hosepipe ban

But they say it won't help the drought. The wrong type of rain...

I know Lol!

The trouble is, the rain we require - weeks of persistent steady rain - would turn us into Denmark.

Solid rain here again today, last night was just as bad. I had an hour outside about 6 yesterday when the sun was quite warm but the local forecast says that was it for a few days :O((((

did you hear it today ? colder - yes colder! little sun, frosts and snow up north - so annoying - the worst ever year this year

I agree - but, at this moment in time...any sort of dryness works for me...at least until the digging's done!! ;)

We have had 3 full dry days since April 1st - we have had just 3 days above 14 degrees too - that's awful

I don't know what's going on...
...and much though I don't actually believe it, I'm beginning to feel a little uneasy about that 2012 thing...

It was dull and dreary here and today it's back to heavy rain. Lots of flooding around us too, a large holiday/ mobile home park two miles away has been evacuated because of the river Nene. Glad I live on a hill!

It's awful again here too, today...and hail-storms forecast for the afternoon!!!

At the moment it is NOT raining....OH has cut the grass, but rain forcast tomorrow surprise, surprise!!

I went out for an hour after work but in the garage potting as it had started again.

It's absolutely and definitely looking up, though...mid week...

Thunderstorms interrupted work yesterday - could go either way today...

I don't really mind either way, Annie...if it's nice/dry I'll have to go out and do more plant moving...but, to be honest, I could do with a wee rest... ;)
