Tulipa whittallii - 2012 (Tulipa whittallii)

Specie tulip for well-drained soil in full sun. Gets just over a foot tall. The foliage in the background belongs to spiraea japonica 'Goldflame' - I'd like to think putting the two together was planned (but it wasn't)
