i wanted to get a nice picture today cos its may 1st, but the weather just isnt right.

The roses are from my mom's.

long ago when i was a little girl and horses and carts roamed the roads [the last bit isnt true] there used to be maypole dancing on the village greens and in the schools.

Most people collect flowers, some put them on their doors others anywhere around the house. A lot of people put them on their cars if they are driving around and enjoying the day!

It's been gorgeous here.....it was suppose to hit 30C today.

That sounds like a celebration worth having!

Happy May Day! May Day is a very big day in Hawaii. There's big luaus with hula halaus that gather for competition. It's a huge deal!
