There's so many hybrids blooming in San Diego gardens, now. However, many are almost close to the end of their bloom cycle. Photo taken May 3, 2012 in Balboa Park.

I can imagine. Some yards here have hundreds in their front yard. Most are past-peak bloom, though.

They start blooming here around April.

I spoke to the lady who owns the pure red ones today.....we are doing a swap when they finish flowering. ;o)))

She has them in pots believe it or not.....I saw some really beautiful displays today....I might take some pics when I don't have a car full of kids.

They should be easy to separate if they're in pots.
Good luck with taking the pics...especially, with a car full of kids...or not having a car full of kids! lol! :>)

I saw a pure dark red Amaryllis yesterday.....absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
