Thanks Paul and Karen. I had to hold the camera with one hand and wave my other so he can give me a profile shot. Suprisingly it only took me two shots.

Yes, he will be 2 years old soon. There are some people who just walk right up to him and he really likes.....(I've counted two). Most people are afraid of him and he knows it...He's a great dog though.

Aah...doing his 'teenage thing', then? Hopefully he'll start to settle a bit after he's two...

My Pyrenean Shepherd was very difficult. Very loving and protective of us. People weren't scared of her when they saw her because she's quite small and cute looking but she actually bit some people who came into the garden. I had to resort to an electronic collar and it worked very quickly. She is now just over two years old and has calmed down quite a lot.

He's gotten very big.

Yes hes has ;o) He jumps on me and I take a few steps back....he's sooooo strong.

Yes, German shepherds are very strong. I had one as a young child. Now, I only have very small, hypoallergenic dogs. :>)

I would like a very small hypoallergenic dog when the kids are all grown up and in their own house..... and Spike calms down a little.

It's definitely a good idea...especially if you have allergies.

Before I decide to buy a hypoallergenic dog I need to make sure I'm not allergic to it. Maltese are on the list of hypoallergenic dogs....I had one and I was really allergic to her!!! She was so cute.
