Yellow azalea originally grown from seed many years ago

This is the yellow azalea that I was saying that I am so fond of Katarina.

Katarina and Pimpernel it is a very good doer able to stand on its own feet better than most of the modern larger flowered forms and getting by with very little moisture some years still flowering the following spring.
As for name Luteum surely, Ponticum being the wild purple one I think.

That is a nice azalea, I like the evergreen types but my favorites are the ones that flower on bare stems in Spring.

Beautiful. What is more proper expression for this? Is this yellow azalea or rhododendron luteum or ponticum? I am sometimes confused in literature, because this sort of slow growing yellow azaleas are sometimes named as rhododendrons...
