Forget Bee Not

No doubt there are many pictures of Myosotis sylvatica on GoY. But, how many include this unfamiliar bee?
I have never seen a Black & White bee anywhere that I can recall.
Is it a mutant? An alien species? Perhaps it just hasn't been out in the sun; Lack of sunshine so far this year?
Who knows?

What a beautiful photo! Reminds me many people from my life. My godfather, who was beekeeper and my grandmother, who loved forget-me-not flowers. Added to favourites and nominated to GOYpedia.
