I miss seeing foxes....although I now live in a more rural area I have never seen a fox in the 5 years I have lived here. Yet when I lived much further in the city I used to see them all the time. Coming home from work at 3am - I was always guaranteed to see the cubs playing in the garden

I think it was an adult. I have mixed feelings about foxes. They are attractive but people who defend them have not seen the carnage they can do. My friend had 60 hens killed in one night, and I lost a beautiful Roman gander, a two month old gosling, four Rhode Island Red hens and five ducks to a visiting fox. They don't just seem to kill for sustenance - seems to be blood lust on a huge scale once they get going.
