Hiya Lu, Id forgotten all about the nicotiana. Ive got some on the go at the moment. The weather has been sooo cold it seems to be putting everything back. Hope they come on for you.

Yw ST. Have you seen the 'clandestine cake club'? They meet once a month. Everyone takes a cake they have made and you get to eat cake, talk about it and anything else you want as long as it involves cake. When you leave you get a slice of everyone elses cake to take home! The nearest to me is Ashford (about 20 miles) I would love to join one.

And at the end, everyone waddles home! LoL!
I know,PL, it's so cold, they are tiny, peeking green, tiny leaves through the seed tray.

Lol Lulu. It may be a good thing its 20 miles away! Bear with the nicotiana it starts off slow and then gets a good spurt on.

They are so small!!! Can't quite believe they can possibly flower!! They are annuals?

15 May, 2012

oooh thanks you temptress poppy ~ there is one about 15 miles away max!!!! and another about 12 the other direction!!!

i did once do a puddings and pies evening which seemed to go ok?

You cant be that far away from the famous 'Pudding club' - somewhere near Oxford I think. Lulu, they are a rosette of leaves at the base and then throw up big tall spikes with the flower heads on. They are well worth waiting for. You should get flowers by July and then they go right through until the frosts. They dont mind shade either. So hang in there girl!

not impossibly far, its in the cotswolds, i have looked it up a few times but never actually been ~ it costs quite a bit.

Well maybe for a special treat Sticki?? Tell OH to start saving! Theres a good cookery class called Pan Haggarty, that Ive been quite tempted to try. I bought a lesson for my Sis one time, she enjoyed it but it was more relevant for Aga owners.

15 May, 2012

i fancy a bread course i also know the people i work for run courses but they are in london ~ easier for you!!??

15 May, 2012
