Yes, Plumerias are very famous for their fragrances. It depends on the variety what type of fragrance it has. Common fragrances are: perfume, citrus, spicy, peachy, gardenia, lemony, rose, coconut, jasmine, and vanilla.

I don't think it's hit the stunning faze yet. I like when more flowers open and it has the yellow, white, red and orange hues.

Be patient...your plumerias are not even a year old yet. Remember: seedlings can take from 2 - 5 years to bloom for the first time.

Plumerias typically bloom in subtropical climates from as early as late April - Dec. The heaviest blooming occurs in the summer months. Here in San Diego the best bloom time is from: June - Nov. (Nov. is the sunniest month statically in San Diego and can be quite hot due to the Santa Ana Winds).

Yes, there's still hope. I've seen plumeria trees bloom from April - January here in San Diego.

Yes, they love the the hot full sun.

Andy, my Bird of Paradise looks terrible since I've put it in the garden!!! It's been in the ground since March....it looks worse now....

No, I had it in a pot for a while in semi shade then gave it full sun still in the pot and then in the garden. Oh well, I will just have to wait and see.....I really hope it doesn't die on me....I've had it seven years from seed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I thought too.....
I did water it a lot when first planted, now every other day.
Checked on it today again,,,,,it's still alive.
