New growth, have two of these and thought they hadnt survived winter, the other one is a little worse than this but still has new growth

They're not keen on my garden, I'll have a look and see if it's still alive. Yours looks very unusual... two tier..I wonder will it stay that way or fill in in the middle:-)

Hi BA, there was branches in the middle but that is where the leaves all dropped off so have trimmed it off, can you see the nobbly bits up the stem, that is where i cut the bare branches off, not sure it will grow from there again as i have not grown this before. but did read that you should trim off any dead growth, i think it was on here :^)

Mine has new growth at the very top...so not dead:-)
