Are the leaves prickly to the touch at all Dawn?
reason I ask is I pulled something out today and hoping it wasn't this :/

See what you mean Dawn, I have looked at mine and there are little hairs starting to grow, but they are still very small plants, so will let you know when they get bigger, Thanks for putting the picture on for me ;0)

We have loads of leaves but no buds!! usually by this time ours are fully open, just hope we did not put too much compost around them.....

one of my favs..mine not quite at this stage besides the hairy bits of course..

THey are lovely , aren't they ? I have several clumps of them around the garden , all just on the brink of flowering .
The hot weather has sprung them on .
