Its a very prolific seeder Paul so watch out for all the babies :-))

I know nothing about this plant, but it looks fab! According to a book called "grow herbs", young leaves can be used to make a tea, which helps alleviate nervous headaches, or chopped up and added to salads, soups etc., and the seeds are used in Moroccan cooking. Do you grow this plant for these purposes?

I just love huge perennials Tommymoo, and this one certainly is, love those flowers:-), did know you could crystilise the stems and use as cake decoration but didn't know about its other uses, interesting :-)

One of mine has a fist shape at the top, guess this is the flower :). The slugs like them, dont they.

Ooo yes Dawn thats a bud, haven't noticed any slug damage on mine, yet :-),they've even left my hostas alone so far, we do have some very hungry thrushes though, always finding empty snail shells :-))

Flowers emerging now - love it, thanks for the seed Kathy. Slugs and snails and green fly active here, tut.
