Pieris infront looking through to images of Broom,Painter's Palette Photinia and Juniper.

This is gorgeous, but am I looking through the fence, or into mirrors or is this a photo collage? Been studying it for ages and cannot work it out, ML. (I just know I am being thick, but can you explain?)
