Simbad - how large were the bulbs? 70/80mm is about flowering size. They will bloom from smaller bulbs, but not reliably.

Sticki - it was about seven weeks from setting the bulb to bloom.
The hanging plant is Aeschynanthus marmoratus..............

That's a bit like the paper whites, incredible!

I like the other one too, very interesting, is that a sunny window?

SSW facing - seems to suit it!

I have no windows facing that way!

got mine at the rare plants, surreylad has one and says they spread ~ so im hoping!!! hard to know where to put them, at the moment i have mine in a container by the door, it would get lost in the flower bed.

Anywhere shady I reckon would be good...........
