Simbad - how large were the bulbs? 70/80mm is about flowering size. They will bloom from smaller bulbs, but not reliably.
Sticki - it was about seven weeks from setting the bulb to bloom.
The hanging plant is Aeschynanthus marmoratus..............

well you might well think so and i have considered becoming a hermit but they arent allowed the internet!!!

no i have windowsills but the house faces the wrong way ~ i need a turntable!!! [mega sized]

got mine at the rare plants, surreylad has one and says they spread ~ so im hoping!!! hard to know where to put them, at the moment i have mine in a container by the door, it would get lost in the flower bed.
