The arches this morning.

The arches look lovely now, they have blended in nicely. I can imagine them covered in beautiful scented flowers.

Thanks Poppylover, they have really grown on me too. I wouldn't want to be without them now! Thank you Paul....it's giving me a lot of pleasure at the moment, as I'm sure yours is you too.

What a great addition Karen, what are you going to grow over them?

Pansy, they are already planted up with.....three blue clematis, winter jasmine (yellow), three yellow honeysuckle (sweet Susan), two Solanum crispum glasnevin (blue and yellow) a Laburnum, four climbing roses - canary bird (yellow), golden showers (yellow), Graham Thomas (yellow) and Veilchenblau (blue/violet), evergreen Jasmine (yellow) and for this year only, canary creeper and blue Morning glories and a few blue sweet peas. I think that's everything! lol...what am I like? The roses aren't moving much, but I find that climbers take a good year to get going here. The honeysuckles are just starting to get away now and the solanums too. The biggest is the evergreen Jasmine which I had in a pot before and it is loving being in the ground!

ooops, I forgot, there is also a very dark blue buddleja called 'African Queen' which I am also going to train up them!
