I think I have this in my garden. Someone told me it was called "white rock" ... is that another name for it?

I love it when its in flower hanging over the walls, but then it starts looking untidy and am never sure how to "trim it".

I've just put some in front of Apollo. I hope it gets to look like this reasonably quickly!

I think its one of several that come under White rock plants, another is Alyssum 'Carpet Of Snow'. To keep it compact and tidy I give ita good trim after flowering GF.
I found it took awhile to get established and then theres no stopping it KF. This one grows over a manhole drain cover.

Very easy to look after, when it's straggly, just get your shears and give it a trip, it bounces back...very quickly...

I've got this one - I know it as 'snow in summer'. You have to watch it as is manages to creep all over the garden if you let it!! lol

Yes Sheilar, when we got the house, it had covered the whole back garden. I removed bagfuls of it and still keeps coming back!

It's a great ground cover plant though and is easily cut back (unlike the dratted periwinkle lol)
