I have been watching a blue tit taking aphids from the plants this evening...and a pied wagtail taking insects from cobwebs on my conservatory...brilliant! Who needs insecticides? Oh, except of course to get rid of the horrid vine weevil grubs that have almost destroyed one of my potted heucheras grrrrrrrr

This one, Mai Thai and Rivale Leonard's variety are the best ones that i have Pimps. I've seen a few I've been tempted by this year, but very orange!

Yes, I like them too, but wonder if I would tire of them after a while. I am really a 'soft colour' person mostly. I am tempted by Borisii and the tangerine one as well. Probably just as well I don't have any more room!

I've tried them with Ligularia 'Midnight Lady' as a foil and it works so well. near the Cotinus as well and the Sambucus..
