Great daisies - always give great displays

These were left in the barrel from last year Paul. I thought they were dead in the winter, I never even cut them back, so I was pleased that they came through like this :o)

yes - we have these on the front - they seem to cope with the cold winters well - thankfully :)))

Ah... do they really? I was under the impression (after I bought mine) that I'd lose them over winter and would have to take cuttings... so you both say they survive over winter?

They can be classed as tender - but mine on front survived the really harsh frosts

I might take cuttings to be on the safe side

In previous years I've thrown these away because I didn't know they'd survive winter...

Oooh, I know now Paul, I'm still learning all the time! I dread to think what else I've murdered over the years!

I chucked out a gunnera before about 5 years back - didn't know what it was I'd bought - still feel sorry for that promising plant to this day
