Hywel we have lost three different ones up to date, but, I am determined to get one going, we have another larger one about to flower which is in a sheltered position.
Motty I love them, my neighbour has a fantastic dark flowered one growing in her front garden which has the shelter of a wall it has flowered for months......

They are NZ plants, and will survive if given the right conditions, Burncoose have a wonderful collection.
