There are a few Foxgloves in the garden and this one is a gem!
Had to photograph it at night to capture the colour and the sheen correctly.

The hairs are a stabiliser on the landing pad and the spots are a pathway to the nectar...
Sorry!!! lol!
Someone told me I couldn't grow them here, on account of having the wrong sort of bees...so had to research it... :)))

You can grow anything anywhere Karen!! Just takes a little extra effort sometimes. Bees are only needed for pollination anyway!
