Grows well in mid-Atlantic states (US). Photo was taken in Bermuda where it appears that the plant may over-winter.

We received an early Christmas gift from a friend that contained Gumphrena. It was a small tea set with spice packets of tea containing gumphrena blossoms and leaves.. Was surprised when we heard that it was a flower blossom in the tea.... just thought it was novel and that you might find it interesting.
