Water Lily

beautifull Dawn, i have two leaves and no flowers yet even though i have 3 lilies in my new pond lol, would love all these ;o))

Hi San, hope you're Ok :). I have lots of flowers on these massive plants but then again my pond is clay lined so their roots are free. Hope you get flowers soon.

Do you have water soldiers in your pond?, spent the day raking loads of them out of mine, sure when they sunk to the bottom last year there were only 7 or 8 this year the whole surface was nearly covered!!!!!, they flowered for the first time too small white flowers but quite pretty, sure they'll make good compost :-))

They are spreading out beautifully Dawn and look wonderful :o))

Hi Kathy, yes I have a couple of water soldiers, must look to see if they've risen. I remember yours last year, they were lovely. Wonder why they've gone so crazy.

This white one is OK but I prefer the yellow and pink ones.

Yes, you're right Karen. The pink flowering ones have maroon coloured leaves :-)

Ooh they sound really sultry. I hope we get some sun soon Dawn. Having said that, it has come out here now and the fields behind us are all lit up and shining...wonderful evening sunshine. I think I shall go outdoors and have a look around! :D

Yes Karen, get out there and enjoy. This british, wet summer theme is getting me down. Having that swimming pool in 1994 was the kiss of death. :(. Think we've only had one decent summer since.
