yes, I'd rather have aphids any day, and even mildew you can control, but blackspot is so ugly :(

Beautiful rose, the blackspot does seem bad this year, got to admit I spray mine with Roseclear but missed my climbing rose, 'Handel', and it looks a right mess.

I only got around to spraying last week Oji and the rain will have washed it all away. Too late anyway. :(

A lovely opulent rose. Thank goodness I sprayed in time, otherwise my patio roses would have been denuded of foliage. With Rose Clear and foliar feeds they are really providing colour. I don't like spraying Rose Clear, as it smells like citronella and I hate that smell.

Oh do you Dorjac? I actually love that smell....perhaps it is because it keeps the flies off me! :D

It is gorgeous, what a shame about the black spot, hope you can clear it!

Lovely colour,Karen..My roses have some damage this year too..and never had it before...even though they are'disease resistant'...granted,it's not a lot...but does spoil the look of the foliage..
