I think these are the coolest bonsai plants and this is an old one. I can't believe how thick the trunk is. They had several in the collection over 80 years old.

I have a couple Japanese white pines but they are too large for bonsai. I have a few plants I am trying to train as bonsai: Shimpaku junipers and a few cotoneaster mostly.
