they are not to bad at this stage but when the spikes turn a golden colour then they hurt...

There was a garden featured on Thursday nights Beechgrove Garden - they had a multitude of different Meconopsis (Meconopsii?) some of them were spectacular!
They had one that was spikey all over.....would this be it SL?

i wish i saw that Scottish, yes that sounds just like this one..

i didn't realise it was on bbc, i'll take a look later on tonight.

Lol yes it's a blue poppy Leigh, the name is because it is covered in spikes,,,

yeah i did google, its a lovely colour isnt it :-)
