Japanese Acers

I would love to grow Japanese Acers in pots, what type of soil are they planted in? They look lovely.

Hi Susie, I have just grown them in general compost, I never bother with all of that compost for this and compost for that and everything seems to be ok. The one at the back is in a quite a large pot and the orange one is in a medium sized pot and the little red one is in a tiny pot but they really do survive for me!!
