Saw this on a gardening program many years ago, quite fascinating.....

Now, A, there was a plant on Chelsea two years ago and it was a cottongrass, but it had terracotta coloured flowers...absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't source it at the time, must keep an eye out for it!

Eriophorum chamissonis is the name of it...found it on google! ;) but no sign of it for sale so far.

This one grows wild on boggy moorland around here. I'm sure your one must be related - a posh cousin, perhaps.
