I'm always surprised at the variety of plants in the hedgerows etc. you can see where so many of our garden plants come from .......

On the bypass near here there are some tall purple flowers that always catch my eye, I wonder if they are these, roads too busy to stop & Look.

Most people think it is a nettle..it is hard to tell the difference without the flower.

Books say run your hands thruough the leaf..if you get stung its a nettle !!!
