Saved seeds from one of my Hostas (experiment to see if they would grow) Look at this lot - need to pot them on this next week. Can anyone tell me do they come true from seed to the parent plant?

They dont come true from seed Olive, even the seed from the same pod will be different, like brothers and sisters....Thats what the experts say...:>)

Just had a reply on the query page and was told only the hybrids are like that so will just have to hope. :o)

I'm sure my Mum would say yes, she would give everything a go from seed, mostly with good results...Well done...they'll be nice, even if you get a surprise package lol...

they are doing well at the moment all planted out in little pots sat in the sunshine, fingers crossed they all survive. Will keep you posted.
