Thank you Annelle, and Lil, I am so glad that you like it. This arrived from Crocus plants, as a special gift from a good friend, and I love it.
Peonies bloom between June and July, so not a long flowering period, but what a display when they do! They are a long lived plant that can have a lifespan up to 75 years, though need dividing after every 10 years to keep them flowering. Can't praise Crocus enough, the packaging was superb! I will treasure this gift always. Somehow it always means so much more when it is a gift from a loved one...\0/x

A wow from me......love them, and like you very impressed with Crocus.

They are a really great company aren't they Dd? So often we order through the internet and either don't get what we order or it arrives battered and traumatised. We complain when we are on the end of this, but rarely compliment companies that get it right and respect their customers..This is a real thumbs up for Crocus from me..\0/

Beautiful picture. How long have your blooms lasted this year? Mine has flowered quite well but the flowers have been battered by rain and wind and each one has been very short-lived.

This has been a really recent gift Inverglen, though it was in flower when it arrived. As you said, the weather has been so awful that when it went out in the garden, the petals took a battering from this dreadful weather we have been having recently, so they didn't last as long as perhaps they should have. Am so glad that I took loads of photos of them though..

It is a beauty, Flori, and special to me, as my mother-in- law grew this in her garden. It reminds me of her. :-)

Hello Spritz! So lovely to hear from you! Hope you are keeping well my friend. What a lovely memory to have of your mother-in-law. This is such a showy plant, it demands to be noticed doesn't it..Its flowering season may be short, but it is certainly spectacular..\0/xxx

I don't grow Paeonies...even my shoe-horn wouldn't work on one, Flori! I'll have to admire yours. :-)))
