Linaria Purpurea & Lupin 'noble maiden'

They look nice together, I have Linaria everywhere my lupins aren't out yet though :o)

Goyer Janey sent me this Linaria......hope it self-seeds, i would like some for other parts of the garden.....I've been dead heading the Lupins for a couple of weeks now Neellan...:>)

Aren't they pretty. The snails have eaten most of mine! From the top down!

Really....I didnt know snails were partial to Toadflax and i have quite a few slugs and snails living in my garden...:>))

Linaria do self seed Moti that's why I have so many! Don't mention snails with all this rain they are out in force so I went out on the terrace this evening and danced in my wellies - dozens in snail heaven now :o)

Lol....Oh yuk Neellan!!!....I throw them over the hedge....I think they're marching straight back in to my garden....:>)

I don't use slug pellets because of the birds and frogs, they eat a lot but they can't keep up.......so :o(
my lupins are out at last rather rain lashed though :o)

Egg shells, grit and copper scouring pads for me.....The Lupins got a terrible bashing here too...I cut off the worst and tied the others up....Looking ok now...:>)

Copper scouring pads that's a new one it would see them off I reckon! tried the others copper tape and sawdust but somehow they still got my Hostas...blighters!! Even had sunshine this afternoon.....really warm so a lot of plants have perked up :o)

Same here Neellan...The weather was lovely during the afternoon...If only we could get good weather 2 day in a row...lol

Spoke too soon it has been torrential rain all day today so back to square one!!

Good here too...very dull, dry and warm...I have Remi this weekend, so not much time for gardening....
