Thornton Hall Gardens

Just viewed. Lovely Hostas & other foliage plants. Don't know where Thornton Hall is tho'.

Thank you for viewing my photos of Thornton Hall Gardens. It is in Darlington, Co. Durham, here is the web site www.thorntonhallgardens.co.uk. They are really a pleasure to walk round and admire. The hostas are wonderful with not a nibble in site, possibly due to the 2 ducks that live there. The roses had no signs of greenfly or rust. They are only open for a few days a year as it is a private house, the rest of the year they must spend working on it to get it to look so magnificent, and enjoying it themselves. Shame it's such a long way from Surrey.
