No....I don't know what the name of this Jasmine is. It's a cutting off my mom's. It is one of the best smelling Jasmine flowers.

Is it a shrub or vine? Jasminum nitidum is a shrub.

It's a vine but I'm keeping this one as a shrub because it's in a pot in front of my shop.
I have another cutting of this in my garden, I'm leaving that one as a vine.
I think I'm going to take another cutting this autumn for my balcony....smells gorgeous.

It must be Jasminum polyanthum...it's extremely fragrant. It's very popular here in California.

Just had a look.....are the leaves of Polyanthum hard (not as soft as other Jasmine leaves)?????

Yes, the leaves are pretty shiny and hard.

So many different pics on google of Polyanthus....not really sure.

Yes, I know, there's a lot of mis-labeled information they posted on the internet. This is why I keep my many plant books
