does blockley still have that wonderful restaurant?

Crumbs!! I don't know stickitoffee, we don't go there very often & when we went to Mill Dene that day, that's the only place we stopped at!! Sorrrry!
What was the restaurant called - do you know?
I will find out!

Just thought, there might be one called The Great Western or something similar!

did I send a message suggesting Great Western? - it's disappeared (not the hotel!! the message!)
I thought of Great Western, then after that, I thought of The Crown.
Maybe it was one of those!!
Other than that, I really don't know - - I shall have to go & have a look around Blockley again!!!

Ah! Yes, I think these suggestions are more like hotels. Come to think of it, wracking my brains, Dave & I used to play darts (lonnnng long ago!!) & I think one of our away matches was at The Crown Blockley - a proper pub then & not a food outlet!!
The drink driving did away with them really didn't they, still I would rather have the drink driving law in force now!
I don't think there can be any "proper pubs" nowadays. They all do food as a main source of income I suppose.

Well I would too nowadays, but in the dim distant past, the main food was 'chicken & chips in the basket' eat with your fingers which I LOVED!! Chicken doesn't taste the same out on a plate!

You'll get to know us all shortly, Shirley - Sticki knows her way round the countryside by garden centres where you can find good things to eat: (She's a very good cook, too) I knew Blockley way back when - one of the prettiest places ever.

Funny enough, I don't know it that well! Although it is only about 7 - 8 miles from here I rarely go there!
