Thanks drc, im not sure its that as it doesnt have flowes, i had 3 clumps of it in a planter that was looking a bit tired so decided to seperate and move it so ive got lots of bits around now, it divided quite easily and looks much better now. ive asked hywel too thanks drc :o)

It certainly looks like variegated Lirope. Mine died lol.
I've got the green variety still, but they haven't flowered for years.

I think this might be called Variegated Lirope, often known as monkey grass, it has pretty purple flowers, there are 2 varieties, spicata which spreads the fastest, or Muscari which stays in a clump. Hywel will be able to tell you as he has one.
