Mock orange

The mock orange is in a container and takes the place of the earlier flowering poppy, Patty Plum.

Thanks, it is grim today, but the rain has stopped now (at last). I keep thinking I should go out and dead head the roses and try to put in supports for the the lychnis and alchemilla, but I think they're past it now!.

Yes, I went out yesterday to 'rescue' a few rose blooms, but it was mostly too late. I left them on...they don't look too bad from a safe distance, but close up.....wrecked :(

Isn't it heart breaking to have wreckage after a rain-wind storm. We get mostly wind, no rain this summer, just one beautiful day after another. But the garden is turning brown. We have short supply of water, no watering. Your garden is just the kind I like, a bit floppy. It just all flows together.
