I immediately thought of mushrooms and a pie - so sorry Muddy, lol the picture is a beauty. I just love pidgeon and mushroom pie I could not resist. lol. I am evil really evil.

Thanks Amy . . . and Barbara - evil? . . I doubt that! I've never tasted Pigeon, just the usual Chicken, Duck and Turkey. Never had Pheasant, Partridge, Quail, Goose, Ostrich or Swan - I must get out more . . lol! ;-)

I haven't had it for a number of years now Muddy, when Karen was at College in London. I watched a programme on Jackie Charlton and his shooting and recipes etc he set me off with it. It is very tasty, just need four pidgeon breasts and mushrooms and a lovely pastry crust, yum yum. :O)
