Bonsai Oak

This little oak has been grown from an acorn some 8 years ago. I keep it regularly pruned and cut roots annually. I have used general purpose compost with 30 percent grit mixture for drainage

Must have a go at this see many acorns on my walks.
I am trying my hand with 2 fuchsias as bonsia.

Its great fun, I have been interested in Bonsai for about 8 years, I only play at it if that makes sense, not clever enough to shape like the professionals do
I have a maple tree I have bonsai ed, its about 3 feet tall I will post a photo
The oak is my favourite, its only about 6 inches tall
