First flower on my Japanese anemones

Smashing photo - is this flower early or is it the usual flowering time? Looks like you've been spending a lot of time lying around the garden today Gemma . . . green knees? ;-)

I had to catch it at it's best angle Muddy! If that means lying around, that's fine with me lol ... the only problem is trying to get back up again ;o)

I think it's early, confused by the weather ...
