Thanks! The tropical guava is so common and popular here...some gardens have dozens of trees.
This is an old plant I have in a pot. I have one that popped up from a seed off this plant next to the bananas three years ago. Now the plant is 14ft/4.3m tall.

Its beautiful Delonix....The bloom is very like the blooms from Myrtus, are they related in any way ?

Yes, tropical guava is in the same family: Myrtaceae...
which includes such genera as: Eucalyptus, Myrtus, Eugenia and Syzygium.
