I've grown the "normal" Amaryllis for many years but I've never even seen one of these for sale in the shops & I've never grown them either. :-((

I got my bulb from the Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam. As I recall it cost me five Euros.

They can probably be bought online, from some Amaryllis catalogue. I get one from the 'Amaryllis Company', in the USA. I love their selection of plants! Just wish I could afford to buy them!

WOW! That's VERY expensive! The "normal" Amaryllis cost only £5 at Christmas now! They used to be £10 when you saw them in the supermarkets! For some reason they were a lot cheaper this year.
