This is our challenging steep and rocky bank behind our house. It is approx 300sqm of sheer rock and clay. Plan on planting with small flax and ground covers. Can't see them too well, but there is standard Liquid Ambers lining the driveway.

Thank you Pimpernel. I can see the end result in my head, so I sometimes forget what others are seeing.

I think we are seeing the hard work..That is some slope, but there are so many flat gardens I bet it will be fantastic.

Cheers Pimpernel, it's nice to hear some positivity. We normally just listen to people telling us we're mad!

great project Teresaeddy, really looking forward to your updates.
i agree with Pim and if you havent gardened on steep slopes before you will develop hundreds of new techniques no doubt, get infuriated, stressed out, loose the plot but in the end......it will be so worth it.
is it a 5 year plan, or a just see how we go?
wha tis your climate like there? and is your soil stable? i suppose with so much rock , it is.
good luck.
