It is too low for me to get down to smell but it is supposedly one of the nicest perfumed old roses. Hoping it grows up nice and tall for me to be able to smell it. Sited this one next to Fragrant Cloud and they do go so well. Thanks for the heads up last year Karen it is beautiful at the side of Fragrant Cloud.

We have had the best sunshine today so far this summer, at last the sun has been shining and it is lovely out in the garden. The Jet Stream has finally started to move upwards so fingers crossed it will now improve. Saw that you were getting wet but hopefully better soon for you. :O)

Going to look at a garden tomorrow...friend of my friend Carol's. Lady is another Counsellor in Newport just over the river. Her garden was on the t.v. this year...beautiful views over the Tay. Should be fairly dry I think at least.

You are so welcome! I hope the rain hasn't totally ruined it! Been chucking it down all day here :( But, on a positive note, I got some painting done (canvas, not walls this time!).
