I tried a few times to get a good picture of this, it does have lovely bands of colour blues/greys surrounding the eye not showing well at all, a new one last year love it :-))

Its hubbies new camera Wylie, I'll have to read the manual, I'm used to ones you just point and shoot, you can do so many things on this one, it is annoying when the true colours don't show up.

Anyone who has tried to photograph this type knows what you mean. Try adjusting the aperture and shutter speeds. The great thing about digital cameras is you can play with these settings, learn what works and erase the failures.
