Jasminum humile 'Revolutum'

A lovely evergreen climber with scented yellow flowers. I rescued this plant from my GC in winter 3 years ago when it was completely defoliated and dying. It spend the next two years in a pot before I felt brave enough to risk planting it in the ground. This was the main reason for the blue/yellow colour scheme on my new arched footpath. I wanted somewhere to plant this gorgeous shrub. It is just starting to flower now and hasn't minded being moved one bit. In a couple of years it should completely engulf the arches, giving me all year round clothing for them.

no more bad winters for a while, well I hope not, mild ones hopefully, and sunny during the day, not much to ask for is it!!

When you see what's happening in Japan I think we have little to complain about up here. Worse in the south with all the flooding. Nevertheless..all this grey is hard to cope with. I have had to get the daylight lamp out again.
