Jasminum humile 'Revolutum'

Jasminum humile 'Revolutum' (Jasminum Humile 'Revolutum')

A lovely evergreen climber with scented yellow flowers. I rescued this plant from my GC in winter 3 years ago when it was completely defoliated and dying. It spend the next two years in a pot before I felt brave enough to risk planting it in the ground. This was the main reason for the blue/yellow colour scheme on my new arched footpath. I wanted somewhere to plant this gorgeous shrub. It is just starting to flower now and hasn't minded being moved one bit. In a couple of years it should completely engulf the arches, giving me all year round clothing for them.

Yes, as long as we don't get any freakily cold winters for a while! :D

When you see what's happening in Japan I think we have little to complain about up here. Worse in the south with all the flooding. Nevertheless..all this grey is hard to cope with. I have had to get the daylight lamp out again.
