Lavatera 'Blushing Bride'

tbh, I'm not sure which is Barnsley and which is Bridal Blush. I hope I've got it right now. Will be easy to check it out as one is much shorter growing...One is much pinker than the other too.

They are Melchi. I like all those types of flowers. Roses, strawberries, Hellebores, Clematis...all that similar type of flower and most of them members of the Rosaceae family. I wonder if Lavatera is also a member of that group...hmm..

This is lovely.
My old neighbour used to grow Lavatera - so much so they got really out of hand. If they had been as gorgeous as this I would not have minded :))

No, some are lovelier than others aren't they! I prefer these pale ones, but I'm pleased I grew some this year. They should give me colour for a few months yet.

Thanks Katarina. I went Lavatera potty this year....covering my fences. Pretty much covered now though with these and buddlejas filling in all the gaps! :D
