Benn on the riverwalk

Thank you. He is a cross between a cocker spaniel and a golden retriever. He is very patient with our ducks and with Matilda.

The riverwalk was built about three years ago. We made it so we could remove the gutters from our house because we live in the woods and my husband got sick of cleaning leaves out of the gutters.

The riverbed is dry except for when it rains. We designed it, colorwise, so that the mexican river stones would look like water flowing in the bed. There was a whole lot of digging to get the slope right and several tons of rock, but it is beautiful. I'll have to upload a picture of the whole thing and a picture of the fountain my husband built too.

What a brilliant idea! And congrats for deciding to work with Nature instead of against her. Hello Benn ! He's a lovely dog!
