i have loads of these crocosmia lucifer i think they really are a strikeing red

i do too, they look fantastic!!!

I have some in my garden but not in flower yet.

Think you've had nice summer weather this last week, which will help, we have had no summer at all yet, one of my son's lives in Manchester and he as had beautiful weather :o)))

I'm so jealous Pete. I have a clump of them but there's only one with a flower head on (not open yet). Dunno what's gone wrong with them this year. I agree with you, they're a striking red.

i will stick some in the post when they are dormant if you want sheilar lol

Nope Pete, no consolation - mine are all in full sun and they flowered no problem last year!!

I planted some this year, but no flowers. If they flower next year and look as good as yours, I shall be a happy lady.
